This March 29Th at 8pm environmentalists, hippies, Eco-friendlies, business, and anyone who else who cares about our mother earth will turn the lights off for 1 hour.
It all started last year on March 31st, when the WWF ( World Wide Fund For Nature ) in Sydney Australia organized the first ever Earth Hour. The city estimated nearly 2.2 million people participated and may have saved between 2.1 % and 10.2% of the electricity for that hour. This year, it's an international event.
Pss.. March 29Th is also my birthday :)

I'm going to try to participate even though my family will be staying as guests at my college roomate's home! She's into protecting the environment too, so maybe she'd be okay with it. Thanks for posting this info. :)
Yay! You're doing it, too! :) I've already got candles ready and vegetarian chili on the stove... gonna have a mini dinner party with a few like-minded friends. Let's rock this planet... in the dark! :)
